About

I am very newly a fanatic about plants and gardens, so I am retiring from any idea of leisure. It is disheartening for most Canadians that relatively little is written or filmed about the variety of our nation’s gardens and our stalwart horticultural enthusiasts, experts, and the damnable weather that influences our beloved earthy pallets. I wish to do my meagre part to provide online pleasure and information for Canadian garden enthusiasts. And whenever, wherever or with whomever I garden or speak about gardens, my father H. Fred Dale, who wrote books and garden columns for Canadians for 35 years while passing very little of his knowledge on to me, is nevertheless watching kindly over my shoulder. He will be here.
